Is evolution true and Darwin a hero?

I say yes. The evidence is overwhelming. Look at the dinosaurs! Look at the skeletal record of primates that have evolved from common ancestors. Look at the DNA of the great apes...their DNA matches humans by 99.9% Darwin was a great explorer who wrote a great book on natural selection. None of this should be against religion. But, basically, we humans are just another species of ape.Is evolution true and Darwin a hero?
Evolution is true. It was believed and studied long before Darwin (even by his grandfather). But he backed up the theory of natural selection better than anyone ever had. He is a hero for doing sound research. I guess you could say we are just apes. As long as you don't mind being ridiculed by those who don't want to be considered ';dumb wild animals';.Is evolution true and Darwin a hero?
my question is, when did an animal become reasonable? when was the transition between a sensitive being (animal) which is only is able to follow its senses and instincts to a reasonable being, capable of making choices, which will just not go and hump a female of the same specie because of a smell. Where is that point in which a monkey became a human. a human is a reasonable animal.
Don't ONLY look at the DNA of apes; look at the DNA of any living thing on Earth -- we're all related, if you go back far enough.

There are other kinds of evidence besides the fossil record and DNA, BTW.
Yes, Darwin was a great scientist. His Origin of the species speaks clearly of evolutionary changes. This is not contra-religion. But we are just apes too.
I think there are holes though, because genetically we are also close to mice, and pigs.
