Who is the true hero in The Lord of the Rings?

I think Sam because he basically did everything for Frodo and got him out of so much trouble while Frodo just had to carry a bad *** ring. Sam even carried Frodo at one stage!





Another hero I think was Eowyn because she took down that evil dude when no other could and it was going to destroy everything. Tolkein kinda ripped of the whole ';Macbeth'; thing there, proving things wrong through a technicality. In Macbeth no man born of woman could kill him but the person who did kill him wasn't born, he was a Caesarian.


In lord of the rings that evil dude says ';no man can defeat me'; but Eowyn does because she is a woman.

without him the people of helms deep would never have gone to gondor to help them. and he was the one who got the people of the dead to fight for him and if it werent for those dead things they would never have defeated those orks at gondor
