During WW2 - Russian troops at Stalingrad,were dying of human lice infestation.In fact there were so many lice,that they crunched as they walked!


Modern day - It has to be Simon Weston.If you don't know who he is,read his story.I know I wouldn't have coped.
Even though i was born in England, and live back here now, i grew up in New York, so i would say, the NY fire department on september 11th (or on any other call of duty for that matter)


Or anyone who gives everything they've got in order to help others!!

i think that a hero has to stand up for something he believes in, or helps someone out, or is nice to someone, even if other people are against it.

Someone who selflessly sacrifices themselves for another living being without giving regard to their own safety.
someone who selflessly puts their life in direct danger in order to preserve someone else's life
Someone who selflessly does acts of kindness for others without seeking notoriety or recompense.
someone that would give their life for another.....and many other circumstances also!
Someone who risks there life at the chance to save others
Some one who is loyal ,helps others,and could be a role model for mostly anyone

Hero's don't come in one shape,size,color or design.When I recognize one, I worship him/her.
