Who do you think the true hero of Romeo and Juliet is? Explain!?

Romeo would be the tragic hero in Romeo %26amp; Juliet, because he is the main character and is ';of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities'; (from dictionary.com).

His tragic flaw would be that he gets into things without thinking them through first. That's why he headed straight to the crypt right when he heard that Juliet was dead, instead of thinking about the rationality of her death or going to the friar to ask how she died.Who do you think the true hero of Romeo and Juliet is? Explain!?
A hero represents the value of a society. Therefore you can say it is either Romeo (for doing what he has to do for love) or Friar Lawrence (because he helped the couple without expecting anything in return.Who do you think the true hero of Romeo and Juliet is? Explain!?
the priest who gives juliet the drugs...
The ghost,Think about it.
Escalus. For stopping all that silly fighting in the streets and showing up at the tomb just a tad too late.
there is no hero.. use this and run with it cuz teachers eat this type of stuff up... if you argue that every character that could possibly be seen as a hero is in fact not and use facts from the play/story to back it up, then you will have one........... hellofapaper

Plus, everyone in the story makes some sort of mistake so you can back it up purty easily
