Who were the true heroes on the Titanic?

Ha, the movie's on and I admit, I'm watching it. Again.

I don't know if they really existed, but I think it's those musicians that kept playing as the ship was sinking. They lent a moment of grace to others in the midst of a catastrophic event.

What do you think?Who were the true heroes on the Titanic?
I say it was anyone that helped people get on the lifeboats safely and then they themselves stayed behind honorably.Who were the true heroes on the Titanic?
It wasn't the musicians. They had great hearts for trying to help the cause, but they really didn't. Nothing could have helped these people overcome the horror they were facing, especially not music. But God bless the guys for trying. The true heroes were the men giving up their time and lives to help the women and children get on the lifeboats. Not only that, but more than half of those men didn't even get a spot on the lifeboats, and they went down with the ship.
The ones who thought about other people before themselves.
It was the people who gave up their spots on the lifeboats so that others could live, like women and children.
(the Unsinkable) Molly Brown was a hero in real life. She kept most of the woman calm until the rescue boat arrived.
yea the musicians
the ones that tried to save the others
the guys shoveling coal
i think it was the guy that went back in the lifeboat. almost all the rest of them wouldn't.
