A cardiovascular surgeon who invented %26amp; did the 1st cardiac bypass surgery. He invented 1st device used to put patient on bypass. He invented 70 instruments %26amp; procedures for the heart. He made Baylor Hospital into a world class hospital, but then left it over differences,but continued to work in Texas. Houston I think.


He did his last surgery when he was in his 90's!!


He died at 99 y.o.


Had heart surgery when he was 97.
