Which of the following is a true statement about the hero of an epic tale?

Yeah, yeah. I know it's my homework, but I just don't get this one. Thanks to all answers.

A. The hero is superhuman-- braver, stronger, %26amp; smarter than an ordinary person.

B. The hero goes around saving people, without any particular goal in mind.

C.The hero always accomplishes the quest without any help from anyone else.

D. The hero gets sent on a quest, but usually dies while accomplishing it.

I don't think it's C or D, but A %26amp; B don't quite seem to fit...Which of the following is a true statement about the hero of an epic tale?
A, are you ******* retarded?

to sassy retard, frodo isnt even a ******* human.Which of the following is a true statement about the hero of an epic tale?
I disagree with the other person. Usually the hero is a normal person who sets out to reach a goal and is helped along the way by some type of mentor. I think D is a better answer, because they frequently do die in reaching their goal.

But then again they could all be false. Think Lord of the Rings. Frodo is not described by ANY of these...he's not super human, he has a goal, he gets help, he lives.
C, because not all heroes in epic tales die during quests.
well if your talking about tall tales then i would go with A.

im not sure if epic tale is the same thing though...
