He did not initiate but 9-11 was a challange to the United States of America. With their own planes, their own men, and with no expenses-- the Americans might was challanged. And Bush acted as a true leader and went after - he spent all these years fighting terror on hot foot and given the Americans the safety and security. So the least he deserves is an acknowledgement from the American citizens that he will be the true hero and leader of this century-- at least for me he will be.Doest bush deserve at least American recognition as a true hero and leader of this century??
Are you talking George Bush or Anheuser Bush? The guy in the White House is neither a hero or a president. I've been around too long to know what it takes to be both and he's not close on either count. Sorry about expressing my feeling so bluntly but this is an open forum and you did ask. And by the responses so far it's not exactly a landslide victory for you.
As far as the unfair news media just watch The Daily Show with John Stewart. It's the Jews at their finest. 90% of his guests are Jewish. Apparently there's safety in numbers.Doest bush deserve at least American recognition as a true hero and leader of this century??
The true behind that fairy tale is that Dubya is doing war for a living. And where's Osama?
The true hero of this century will be the man or woman who annihilates terrorism and secures lasting peace among the world nations. As far as I can see, Bush has only fueled the hatred towards this country and has therefore failed these two key tasks.
He's the hero of the delusional.
Nope. I think that he used the tragedy of 9/11 to go to war against the wrong enemy, and to compound the mistake, used it as an opportunity to build a huge surveillance program against Americans themselves. Anyone who thinks that the Homeland Security people are not spying on US citizens because of their political positions and opinions in utterly naive. Homeland security is being used to blackball progressive people everywhere.
I think that history will see Bush as incompetent at best... and very possibly as downright evil, a tool of corporations that have supplanted our democracy in the name of suppressing environmental and social progress.
I'm surprised that when you put the words ';hero'; and ';Bush'; in the same sentence you didn't get hit with a bolt of lightening.
1.bin Laden is still free.
2. We have a long way to go in this century.
Yes. He has brought Honor %26amp; Dignity back to the White House after Clinton, Kept us safe since 9/11 and his tax cuts for working people have created this great economy with a very very low 4.5% unemployment rate.
I think our two term president is GREAT.
he is a hero in my book for doing what was right and not what was popular. its actually refreshing.
and before any of you slam me about troops dying. I am a permanitly disabled Marine who paid the price there and would do it again.
at least for you and all other delusional cretins from Mars he will be.
Given this century is in its infancy, such a declaration would be premature to say the least.
No...he deserves respect because he was elected President of the US...but he is no hero and I don't see that he has been a leader. His 'cowboy up' attitude and arrogance does not qualify him as a leader.
You may think he should be recognized, which is your own opinion, but not as a hero. Istead of recognizing someone who sits in an office all day making $200,000.00+ a year as a hero, why dont you recognize the people who are actually giving their lives for this country? The troops.
No - he is neither a hero or a leader. I'm not sure the harm he has perpetrated on America isn't akin to treason.
EDIT LOL rockchalk...............................
No he does not.
Bush did not go afeter our enemies. When we had the chance to destroy al-Quaida, he chose instead to lie and invade Iraq--and still refuses to get our soldiers out of harms way in a war HE started based on lies after almost 4000 have diedto feed his ego.
Worse, he has mad an ally out of a dictator in Pakistan who openly gives sanctuary to al-Qaida, and has refused to do anything about it--deliberately and knowingly allowing al-Qaida to rebuild their organization, bases, and training camps.
Bush ha sfurther violated both the Constitution in spying on law-abiding americans without warrents orcourt oversight--and international law as well by sponsoring and approving torture.
Bush deserves only to be reviled and impeached. His proper place is alongside people like Benedict Arnold.
Sorry, but he's neither. He's no hero, and he's no leader.
You are completely nuts aren't you? The US president is nothing but a ******* bigot, plus he鈥檚 completely changed the constitution for his own... gain if you will. Do you really think they use any of the patriot act honestly? We should never gone after Iraq, it was a group that did 9/11 and they've proven that most of that ';weapons of mass destruction'; was a complete contrivance. Yes, it is good that Hussein is gone, but that country seems ever more torn by the very country that's trying to save it. It will be a blessing to the world when President Bush finally gets out of office, and good riddance.
President Bush is no hero and he is no kind of leader, either.
He will NEVER be a hero. He went to Iraq for the wrong reasons and thousands of Americans have lost their lives and thousands of innocent Iraqis have lost their lives.
9/11 was not perpetuated by Iraqis.
No.
he deserves to be excoriated and reviled forver...
see a doctor a.s.a.p. if u really feel,this way (%26amp; i dout it) get help soooon .
He did not go after the people that caused 9-11. Osama is still free and Iraq had no connection to 9-11.
Bush deserves better than he gets from the media; the sheeple on this board badmouthing him are mainly regurgitating what they hear from the media.
History will recognize Bush's accomplishments in the Middle East.
