What makes Beowulf a True Hero?

what was something brave he did to make him a hero?

what was something couraging he did to make him a hero?

what was something self sacrificing he did to make him a hero? What makes Beowulf a True Hero?
he put his life in danger to save the Danes and he fought grendel, grendels mom and the dragon. he was humble and didnt care for the treasures.all he wanted was for people to remember him he didnt want the treasures. he split that with his soldiers and when hrothgar blamed him for getting his best friend killed he took the responsibility and understood why he was blaming him.

yeahh theres a lot.. jus look through the book for it.. What makes Beowulf a True Hero?
This sounds like homework to me...

Beowulf was a slayer of monsters. He and his men would go around killing creatures that attacked and killed many people.

He fought Grendel, Grendel's mother, and a dragon.

He fought Grendel because Grendel was terrorizing a village. Beowulf decides not to use a weapon because Grendel did not have a weapon. He rips Grendel's arm off.

He died fighting the dragon, sacraficing himself to save his kingdom.
He makes weaknesses into strengths

He killed ';She'; well and Grendal

He didnt fight or kill with a sword
