I haven't seen her do anything special for women's rights.
While we're on the subject, I'm from California and I'd like to apologize on behalf of my state for giving the rest of the country the plague of Pelosi, and senator's Feinsteinn and Boxxer. I would especially like to apologize to the women who feel that these three individuals poorly represent their gender and the wonderful things you could accomplish.Is Pelosi a true American hero in the battle of women rights?
Yes, she really has sacrificed a lot in order to advance your issues, hasn't she? It must be rough being a US senator, and having to cast all of those grueling votes.
Your use of the word ';hero'; to define ANY modern day senator, Democrat or Republican, sickens me. Firemen who run into burning buildings to save kids are heroes. Policemen who risk their lives to catch thugs with guns are heroes. Soldiers that patrol streets while in the lines of crosshairs are heroes. Millionaires who live a life of luxury and cast votes are not heroes.

There are many words that come to mind when I think of Pelosi, “hero” is not one of them.
Pelosi is partisan liberal who seeks only to divide America in order to create a welfare state of beggars and freeloaders.
Not sure, but I love the fact that she seems to be the only one willing to stand toe to toe against a lot of the policies of 'Dubya'. I like her either way. I would much rather see her run as the first woman President more so than Clinton.
No, she was a rush for first sort of like Obama. She's been a substandard politician from a politically irrelevant area. She's successfully set back women in politics at least 30 years.
No. She is a snide woman that chooses politics and power over doing what is right for the American people. The SCHIP debacle was sickening. She'd rather use poor children to make Bush look bad than to actually help them.
