I can't recall his name but if Press reports are true, he gave the terrorist a damn good kicking while he lay burning on the ground. So what's his manifesto; better vote thug than Tory?Is it true that the ';hero'; of the Glasgow airport terrorist attack is now to stand as MP?

He is standing in the Glasgow East by election which is vacant due to Michael Martin standing down.





He is standing as an independent under the jury team organisation which is sort of a political party without a manifesto but provides funding and support to independent. He is the first one that the Jury Team have backed but plan to back more in next years general election





The date for the by election has yet to be confirmed
Mr Smeaton may or may not have given the terrorists ';a good kicking'; but the real heroes that day where the two police officers who removed the gas cylinders from the burning vehicle and made sure everyone else was safely out of the way
Yes smeato is going to try and become an mp.There was other people that helped out that day don't see them going on like this.He has had his 15 mins of fame time for him and his over sized ego to p off.
Yes I believe he is standing as an MP and even though I know very little about him he cant be any worse than a lot of the plonkers we have as MP's from all parties.

Yes it's true.I watched him totally make an @rse of himself in his first brief t.v. news interview and conclude his political career should last all of a fortnight.
