Who can the world look to for answers?Who is a true world leader. Who is a true hero in the world today?
ChristWho is a true world leader. Who is a true hero in the world today?
Back in the sixties he was just an item on the news to me, and my view didn't really change a lot until he was released and showed the world how to do it.
It's just the greatest shame that we lost him for so long.
Nelson mandela.
the Dalai Lama
i think that this question cannot be answered simply, with one liners, that are quick witted. i find this question a more thoughtful type of question to respond to. upon reflection, i think that a world leader is a charismatic personality. leaders are able to communicate ideas that a majority of people in a society can understand, though may not always accept. world leaders are usually able to unite the people, with a current idea, related to the sign of the times. i think the true heroes of people today, are just the people that live around you. they live life, and make choices, in ways that conform to each individuals personal philosophy regarding life. we either think its great or we don't. my own opinion is that i find great heroes in my day to day life . all people could be world leaders. the separation lies, i think, with regard to ambition. i believe i could be a world leader ,as good as the rest, if i chose. world leaders seem to fade in and out. most leaders are forgotten. the few world leaders that we remember, is in what significance did this person impart upon our lives.
True? How do you know what's true anyway?
There are no hero's. Nor should there be. Bang you own drum! Individuals can look to themselves for answers. Start with YOURSELF and that will have a ripple effect. Its up to you to find answers.
It just isn't possible to have a single person or country as a global leader, due to differences in ideology, governance, culture, etc. But if the UN is well-managed and adequately empowered so as to be the supreme authority, it is then good enough for it to ensure global peace and harmony. It is essential that the maximum number of nations in the world become members. Nations who desire to create a positive reputation and history should resolve all conflicts through diplomatic and peaceful means and never sheer force and brutality. To consent to peace only after thousands of people have been sacrificed is never a wise or humane option.Human lives may have been treated 'cheap' several centuries ago when people died in five-digit numbers, all for the sake of attaining freedom and peace, but in modern, civilized times their lives should be treated at a premium.
We look forward to at least the top five most powerful economies--democratic,socialist, communist or hybrids of all these---to lead the world forward to the right direction of peace and prosperity for all.
I am. Follow me and choose peace, deny me and choose war.
all of us (together ) if we help mother earth !!!!
The World does not require a leader. Countries have their own cultures, religions, economy and way of life. It is not necessary or right to try to enforce a uniform set of values on the whole world. What is important is that each country has a leader and that he acts on the wishes of his countrys citizens.
A true country leader is not concerned with carving a place for himself in history or being a World statesman. He is concerned with doing what his right for his own country and its people and all decisions regarding trade and defence should be made with national interests in mind.
A country leader good for the world doesn't meddle in other countries affairs except when they concern his own country and he does not think of using his countries military or economic strength in an agressive way toward other countries.
A very good question. I can't think of anyone. Does anyone even advocate peaceful solutions to problems any longer?
