I am doing an assignment on heroes, and Who is a true hero that I can write about that won't lack information?

My english assignment is on a persuasive piece on why someone is a true hero.





I want it to be someone that I can write about without having trouble finding infromation. I also want to be able to write a really good persuasive piece, so if you have any tips please include it as well!





Can you also write a few reasons of what makes them a hero or like a brief introduction about them..?

Do they have to be famous? If not, why not interview a local police officer, fireman, or soldier.
I think you should either do Chuck Yeager (first man to break the sound barrier) or Neil Armstrong (first man on the moon). Both have a ton of information available on them. Chuck even has his own book on his life, it's a very good read and not a HUGE book.
